Summer + Spray Paint = Love
8:21 PM
A few weeks ago, I finally spray painted this old chair. It has been on my to-do list for I don't know how long! I LOVE a good can of spray paint and the miracles that it can do. :)
These chairs belonged to my husband's grandparents. They were the original owners. So they are heavy duty, not the light weight re-pros. Because of that, they are rusty, faded, and have actually been painted over in the past. Here is the chair in its faded state..
Priming and painting..
And here it is, all done, next to my son's sandbox, and next to its red sister. Which I painted maybe 4 years ago. (Maybe longer!) Sad that it took me this long to paint the orange one.. (now it makes the red one look a little faded..) :)
Sidenote: the little flower pin wheel isn't there anymore. It went the way of Buster. He made a snack out of it. :(
These chairs make me happy. Much the same way that colorful fabrics do! Don't you just want to kiss the man (or more likely the woman-ha) that had the brilliant notion to put paint in a pressurized can? I sure do! :)

I just love those chairs - bring back fond memories. Did a great job on painting and the color. You are good - you did something from your 'To Do" list.
