Quilt Show!
8:39 PM
First, I have to say thank you so much for all of the blogland love that you sent me the last couple of weeks. You are all so kind! Things are slowly getting back to normal around here. S-L-O-W-L-Y. As normal as it can be, anyway. November has been a rough month! To cap it off, my son and I both have colds so we didn't even make it to the family Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. :( But I think we are on the mend now hopefully!
Before my grandmother passed away, I had gone to, and planned to post pics from, a Quilt Show here in town. So I will post them now. It was the weekend after Veterans' Day so there were lots of patriotic quilts. So many quilts, and vendors.. oh those vendors, can be so bad on the wallet.
Anyway, my phone battery died, so I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked, but here are some that I did take.

The Round Robineers.
Cute cats. (I'm more of a dog person)
This applique was amazing!
I heart houses.. *swoon*
My little mister standing by a patriotic quilt and those stars in the lower pic were really cool!
Love orange and blue!
So many cute ones to see!
Love roosters. :)
The applique on this one was so beautiful!
Dog eating a shoe.. sounds familiar. ;)
Sweet 30's prints.. and my little one peeking between the quilts to the other side.
I wish I could have taken more pics before my battery died. So many gorgeous things to see! Such talent.
Here is a pic of something else that may or may not have come home with me.
Oh, I love it! :o)

Looks like a fab show, and what fun quilts! Alas the only one I've been to here, while full of stunning work, has all been of the type to appeal to people over 60 (perhaps that's why I was near trampled by little old ladies on the way in!)
Looks like a lovely show and it's nice that those things wanted to accompany you home!! Hope the lurgy disappears soon!
