Mystery Project for Art Gallery Challenge
2:06 PM
I am soo glad that my friend, Lisa, at Lisa Lisa and the Quilt Jam told me about the Make it Right Challenge, and encouraged me to join in b/c I'm having so much fun with the panel. And ended up needing to order another. (Dana at Winter Creek Cloth has them if you're interested.)
I have drawn up a pattern for somethng very unique, and am so excited whenever I work on it.. it makes me smile! :) I hope it will make you smile too, when you see it. It is coming right along, and I wish I could show it to you, but I want it to be a surprise. It will be better that way. Trust me. :)
Here is what I can show you.
I know it's vague, but I can say that I'm using Pure Elements Moonstone, and Light Citron for the fillers.. and might work some of these in in tiny amounts.. (they just arrived from the FQS.)
I'm having lots of fun, and this is most possibly the most creative thing I've ever done in my life. Fingers crossed it turns out. :)
A couple more pics of random parts of it..
My machine will be motoring along this coming week.
And trying to tackle my very roughly drawn pattern. Learning as I go! :)
Hope you're having a great weekend, and be sure to pop back by on Monday, the 6th, as it is giveaway day over at Sew, Mama, Sew! And I'm planning to participate by giving away some fabric that's been languishing around here for TOO long! :)
Happy Saturday!
xoxo
