Now we know our ABC's, next time won't you Mine with me? ;) It's Y & Z, the last of the Minecraft alphabet. So let's get to it!

Letter Y:




Cutting:

Black: (4) 1 1/2 x 10 1/2"
       (2) 2 1/2 x 4 1/2"

Light Gray: (1) 3 1/2 x 15 1/2"   
            (1) 2 1/2 x 4 1/2"

Dark Gray: (1) 1 1/2 x 15 1/2"


Prep: Stitch your 3 1/2 x 15 1/2" strip of light gray and your 1 1/2 x 15 1/2" strip of dark gray together, then cut into (2) 4 1/2 x 4 1/2" and (1) 4 1/2 x 6 1/2" pieces.




Assembly: Assemble in order of the numbered arrows.





And you have a Y! :)
Black: (4) 1 1/2 x 10 1/2"
       (2) 1 1/2 x 4 1/2"
       (2) 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"
       (2) 1 1/2 x 2 1/2"

a) Stitch a 5 x 7 1/2" rectangle of light gray and a 1 1/2 x 5" rectangle of dark gray together, then cut into (2) 2 1/2 x 8 1/2" rectangles as shown.
b) Stitch a 4 1/2 x 6" rectangle of light gray to a 1 1/2 x 6" of dark gray, then cut into (4) 1 1/2 x 5 1/2" strips as shown.


c) Stitch a 3 x 3 1/2" rectangle of light gray and a 1 1/2 x 3" rectangle of dark gray together, then cut into (2) 1 1/2 x 4 1/2" rectangles as shown.


Assembly: Assemble pieces indicated by small gray arrows first, then assemble according to the numbered arrows.
