Minecraft Quilt Bonus Blocks: Puffer Fish & Silver Fish

Happy Mining Monday!

I think we're 30 weeks in now. I've lost count! I'll have to go back and check!

Today, we're making the Puffer Fish (thanks to @little.emerz!) and the Silver Fish. :)

First up is the Puffer.

You'll need yellow, black and two shades of blue.

Cutting:

Yellow: (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"
        (2) 3 1/2 x 5"
        (1) 3 1/2 x 6 1/2"
        (1) 2 x 7 1/2"
        (1) 2 x 4"
        (1) 2 x 19 1/2"

Dark Blue: (1) 3 1/2 x 4"
           (1) 2 x 2"

Light/Aqua Blue: (2) 2 x 3 1/2"
                 (1) 2 x 2"
                 (1) 2 x 19 1/2"

Black: (1) 2 x 7 1/2"

Prep:

a) Stitch 2 x 7 1/2 rectangles of yellow and black together, then cut into (2) 2 x 3 1/2" rectangles and (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" square as shown below. Set aside.

b) Stitch 2 x 4" rectangle of yellow and 3 1/2 x 4" rectangle of dark blue together, then cut into (2) 2 x 5" rectangles as shown below. Set aside.

c) Stitch 2 x 19 1/2" strips of yellow and lighter blue together, then cut into (8) 2 x 3 1/2" rectangles and (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" square. Set aside.

Assembly: Stitch together sections indicated by small gray arrows first, then stitch together according to the numbered arrows.

And it's a puffer fish! Or so I'm told. ;)
