Minecraft Quilt Extra Blocks: Iron Golem & Heart
12:00 AM
Happy Minecraft Monday #32! I can't believe it's been over 6 months. The sew along page has over 11,600 views. Wow! I never would have imagined how fun this would be.
This week, the extra blocks are Iron Golem and a heart! :) I'm kind of loving the heart.
First up is the Iron Golem..
For him, you'll need a creamish color, light brown, two shades of grey, black and red.
Cutting:
Cream: (1) 3 1/2 x 12 1/2"
(2) 3 1/2 x 5"
(2) 2 x 5"
(1) 2 x 3 1/2"
Light Brown: (1) 2 x 12 1/2"
(2) 2 x 3 1/2"
Light Grey: (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"
(1) 2 x 2"
Dark Grey: (1) 2 x 3 1/2"
(1) 2 x 2"
Black: (2) 2 x 3 1/2"
(2) 2 x 2"
Red: (2) 2 x 2"
Assembly: Assemble the numbered sections first, then assemble per the large grey arrows.
And you should have an Iron Golem! We just got back from vacation at my parents' house and then school started, so I haven't gotten my blocks sewn up yet. But he should look like this:
I'll edit my post and add them in when I get a chance to piece them.
Let me know if there are any discrepancies in the diagram/directions!

Thanks for visiting! I've been seeing lots of finished quilts over on Instagram. I need to do another show & tell post soon!!
Being gone to my parents for two weeks left me lots to catch up on but we had so much fun! I'm going to post about it soon. I found the coolest thing to giveaway, so there will be a giveaway soon, as soon as I get caught up with everything! :D

Is there a PDF download for this week's bonus blocks? I've been collecting them for future use. :)
What wonderful directions!
