I have a Quilty Question....
12:00 AM
...and a giveaway!
Hi! I'm Kelli. *hand waving*
Welcome to my stop on the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks blog hop! My block is on page 47 and is called Quilty Question. For obvious reasons. ;)
It all started a few years ago when I wanted to make my nephew a punctuation quilt, (I have this thing for punctuation) so I started trying to figure out which punctuation marks to include.
I had no idea that in the future, a few of them would be revamped and appear in Quiltmaker!
The first to appear was "And Sew On", and the second one to appear was "You've Got Mail". :) And now there's a third in the mix in the form of a Quilty Question. I even had the perfect fabric (called Writer's Block by IOTA/Robert Kauffman) for it, which I've had for a few years because it didn't make the final cut to be in the Jack Attack quilt I made as part of Lily's Quilts Union Jack quilt along.
I like it as a question mark. :)
If this is your first time here, I hope you'll have a look around, and come back and visit anytime! If you've been here before, welcome back! As always, no Quiltmaker blog hop post is complete without giveaway, so if you'll leave me a comment that includes your email address and the answer to the following quilty question, I'll pick TWO winners on Thanksgiving Day. :) One will receive a copy of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks vol. 14, and one will receive a copy of this 100 blocks issue PLUS a $25 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop.
Here's the question: How many quilts do you have in your house right now? (estimate is fine) ;)
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit all of the other stops along the hop!
xoxo
P.S. Check out the Minecraft Mondays button up there in the left sidebar if you're looking for a Christmas quilt for any young Minecraft fans in your life. :) It will take you to the sew along page where you'll find lots of free tutorials for all of the blocks. They are beginner friendly and super quick and easy to stitch up.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 202 Newer› Newest»There has to be at least 50 quilts in my house, counting the crib quilts I've made ahead and including little wall hangings. Thanks for the give away. Blessings, Gretchen And because I'm told I'm a no-reply blogger - villacrestfarm@gmail.com
Thank you for The quilt question. I have three kid´s room = 3 quilts, two are hanging on the wall and 5 quilts is in living room, 2 in bedroom, it is 12 together. I do not count UFOs. Thank you for sharing. jitka.koudelova@hitech.cz
around 15 and lots of small items, lol! Cute block!
Your block is cute...love it. I have 10 quilts on my beds, couch, and quilt hanger. I also have about 30 quilt tops waiting to be quilted.
thim3@hotmail.com
I must have about 10 quilts plus several wall hangings. Thanks for the chance to win.
Right now, not counting unfinished ones, I have about 25 quilts of various sizes. aevrard(at)rcn(dot)com
I have approximately 20 quilts in my house right now, and lots of unfinished ones. notqnot(at)gmail(dot)com
Finished quilts - 7 not counting minis
Unfinished quilts - 5 ( that's only the ones which have all the blocks made)
I would say approximately 20 quilts. I love your punctuation blocks.
Somewhere between 6-8.....all the others I have made, I have given away.....
Finished quilts-I would estimate 15. Unfinished? That is a mystery! LOL
geneblack At Gmail d.o.t. Com
8 finished quilts in the house, only 2 of which are in use right now (some are holiday quilts, and one son is away at college). Fun block!
ktyoung1(at)gmail(dot)com
I've been quilting since the early 70s, so who knows? 200? However, the quilt I've made that has been the most well received is the minecraft quilt I made for my grandson this summer. He loves. loves it. I made the dragon for the back along with some extra blocks I also made him a pillowcase with more blocks. He would not let me include the spider block because his mom doesn't like spiders. I think he also does not, but I have the block on my design wall to greet me when I come into my sewing room.....
I am new to quilting - still finding my way around all of the "I wants", "I have to haves" and "I loves". So I only have two. But I just know there are many more in my future. I see several more bucket list additions in just the first two days of this tour. Kathleendotlutzatcomcastdotnet
Love your block! I'm actually afraid to even guesstimate the number of quilts in my house right now -- all I know is that I need to find some new homes for them before the house caves in. LOL!
I have a dozen finished quilts in my house right now and probably another two dozen unquilted tops!
I have about 8, some I made (new quilter) and some my Mom and Aunt made.
patsystitch@gvtc.com
I have about 10 bed sized quilts and many more small quilted items.
I probably have about 40 quilts in my house. That is a combination of bed and wall quilts. Congratulations for your block being in the magazine! lraetaylor at gmail dot com
Actual in use quilts and wallhangings is 8, in progress and finished is about 30, LOL.
Well lets start with the Beds.... MBR has 2, Guest room 3(lighter quilts), Futon has 1 as a pad and 2 on top. Bedroom walls 5, Living room 2 full size and 2 wall., Dining room 3 wall hangings, 6 table runners on the back of the chairs. Storage in guest room 14 assorted baby quilts to king size in suckey bags. Shelves in linen closet 4 large. Shelves in MBR 8.
I know I missed some.... and then there are the WIPs in the work room but we do not want to go there
They are lots of them approximately 21 everywhere on walls, quilt racks, beds and closet shelves. I like your creative blocks with punctuations that are perfect for the texting generation.
I have just one finished quilt in my house (on my bed) because all the others have been given away. WIPs are another story and there are plenty of wallhangins, table runners, etc.
Hi Kelli, * waving back*
Your block is super cute, such a fun hip block. Great colors too.
I have 10-12 quilts around my house. Thanks for the chance to win.
I probably have about a dozen, mostly because every time I make one I end up giving it away!!
lstangl482 at aol dot com
Love your block and punctuation quilt!
Probably only about 15 right now since I give most of them away Kelli. Thanks for the chance!!
Quilts don't stay in my house long. I have 3 quilts that need to be quilted, I have an antique quilt from my husbands grandmother. I guess I need to make us some that stay at home.
2 quilts, several tablerunners and wallhangings. 24Tangent@gmail.com
I have about 15 in my house right now (not counting those that will be given as gifts)
cwayons(at)yahoo(dot)com
congratulations. such a fun block. I love the fabric you used.
right now I have 3 handmade quilts from my grandmother. one of them has pieces of my clothes when I was young. 1 handmade quilt from my mother. 1 handmade quilt from my great aunt. 1 store bought quilt that my husband and I got when we fist got married. 1 flimsy baby quilt that I am making for a niece. I tend to make and give away. I really need to make one for our bed. the other is 33 yrs. old and really has seen a lot of love, but is getting raggy.
quilting dash lady at Comcast dot net
I've got probably 35 quilts in my house. Unfortunately only 4 of them are finished! I like the punctuation quilt!
Congratulations on getting your cute block in the magazine. I am guessing that I have 6 or 7 finished, 2 almost finished and several more with the blocks completed but not put together. Thank you for the giveaway.
Hi, Kelly. Congratulations!! And I love the fabric!! So cute and appropriate. In my home there are approximately 20-25 quilts. I have so many that my mom and grandmother made that are put up but I (bad girl) haven't taken them down and refolded them in a long while. My husband just bought me a piece of furniture at the International Quilt Festival in Houston to store my quilts in so as soon as I get that set up, I plan to put those in it. Then I have the few quilts I have made that have stayed with me and my hubby that are hanging on an old ladder and on beds and that's not counting the multiples of UFOs.
Oh, my. Hard question as I have so many quilt tops! Completed baby sized to queen sized quilts, there are probably 20.

Congrats! I must have about 25 Quilts all together. Some are waiting to go to new homes for Christmas gifts. Thank you! Dippetydoo52@ymail.com
Cute block. I have 11 quilts in my home right now not counting the unfinished ones! :)
I have 33 quilts in my home, with more coming. :) Thank you for the inspiration. janie(dot)mccombs(at)yahoo(dot)com
27 finished. 19 wips. Mdmn08@gmail.com
Great quilt. I'm guesstimating at between 45-50 at this time. Thanks for sharing. bonnielarson58(at)gmail(dot)com
Gosh, I'm guessing I have close to 75 quilts if I get to include all my table runners and wall hangings which make up a great portion of my quilts.
I think an even dozen-not counting holiday door quilts. Before I didn'tthought about it I would have said 3 !!!
That is a great question! I had not counted until now...probably 25. Apparently not enough, because I always have another one in my mind :) Thank you for this giveaway!
Finished and usable, or in the works?? About 5 usable, and about 20 in various stages of construction. I have given many that I have completed away.
ndfromsd(at)gmail(dot)com
I just love that quilt! It would make such a fun quilt for an grammar teacher.
In the house??? Do the minis count? If so, I probably have around 40 quilts.
I have several not to mention four that are not yet completed. Let's see, my Dad's and my Mother's quilts (two different quilts), and a two quilts that we use to cover up when cold or camping.... Thank you for a chance to win!
Approximately 35. Finished and mostly in use. Many more than that in UFO status.
Your question mark is cute! I currently have only 3 quilts in my house. I need to work on some to keep for myself! Thank you for sharing with us. cknapp3626(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
Are we talking completed? Or Flimsy stage? Completed--I have about 20 Flimsies I have about 20.
At least 15 or 20, many in the cut ready to piece stage, some are ready to be quilted.. the count is higher.. much higher.. if you want to include none quilt items - like pillows, placemats, tree skirt, wasplike hangings.. only 3 quilts on the couch finished and being used regularly..
If I count all the smaller quilted items, I have at least 100 in my house right now. But that does not mean I am going to stop quilting!
Love your punctuation blocks.
I really don't have many, maybe 5?
I have thirteen quilts and a ton of little quilts - most of my quilts have ended up at my brother's he has about twenty. Maybe I should make him a question mark - why does he have so many of my quilts. LOL
Considering only completed quilts (not WIPs), I would say we have 20. The oldest is likely the log cabin quilt, made by my sweetheart's grandma. His family always used it when they watched tv or snuggled up to read, so it's pretty much "loved to death" and I think I need to get busy making a new generation version. Perhaps the first quilt for 2017?
I have 4 quilts within view of my computer and probably 3 that are WIP's and two for sure that are PIGS. Love this block and loved the ampersand when it appeared....it was the reason I bought the magazine!
In our house...think have 11...have made a few that were given away lately too. :) You are very creative! Love them all!
Thank you for chance to win your give-a-way too! :D
Well if I don't count the quilts in process, I have about a dozen quilts in the house. I give most of the ones I make away.
Cute block. I like your quilt. I have around 7 quilts that I have completed. thank you. Sweetlildaisy5566@yahoo.com
About 30 quilts
If we're counting small and large ones, I have about 20 fully completed ones. Thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
OOOH! Hard question. I suppose about 150 if I include all the small wallhangings and little art quilts. I just destashed and gave about 12 full to lap sized quilts to my daughter. I really like the punctuation mark blocks...such a clever idea!!
10, give or take one, and not counting minis.
Hello probably about 25 not including ones under construction. The minecraft quilt I made for my friend's son is being well used. Thanks for the pattern.
There are 3 quilts hanging on the wall, 2 across chairs and 24 others stashed in various closets around the house.
jenn4653@gmail.com
Around 12 I guess if you don't count UFO's!
Great block - I love the idea of a punctuation quilt!!
Those are such cute blocks! You know I love your patterns! ;) Between bed quilts, baby quilts, doll quilts and wall hangings, I think I have around 30 quilts in my house. Enough to pile them up and pretend I'm the Princess and the pea. :D mamamel78 at hotmail dot com
I'm guessing around 10 bed size quilts, and probably around 20 wallhanging size. What a fun quilt you made with all the punctuation!
35ish ? :)
I'd estimate there are around 40 quilts in the house right now. A few of them will be moving out to various charities soon, but many of them live with me!! They make me smile.
If you count the UFO's, over 200. Many are quilt tops waiting for me to purchase a long arm. Of the completed quilts there are around 75, some are table runners, wall hangings etc.
I have to estimate but I think about 25!... and 10 on my 2017 to do list so far! 🙈
I think I Have made 50 Quilts, Big and small
I have about 2 dozen quilty items in my house. I love this block and the punctuation quilt, since I'm a transcriber.
What a need different quilt. Sometimes I do have ? blocks maybe this block would send a message of what was I thinking when I made this block?
Hmm, does this count include ufos? I don't keep many of the quilts I make. I have two full size quilts and several wall hangingings and runners. The ufos are a much higher number :)
As a fairly new quilter I have 2 finished and 2 unfinished right now. I've made more than that but I keep giving them away as gifts!!
I have about 5 bed size quilts and about 7 wall hangings. there are about 3 in progress, but most of the things I make I give away.
I have at least 8 quilts, and have plans to make so many more. Quiltmaker designers sure help with ideas. Thanks for giveaway.
djcutting2(at)gmail(dot)com
I forgot to include my email address: ellen.mccaulley@gmail.com
I have a dozen finished quilts in my house. I also have 2 on the go!!!
Micheletimms at gmail dot com
Hi Kelli--Read your post last night before bed (there were no comments then!) and so had to count this morning! Right now there are 79 quilts in my house, plus about a dozen tablerunners! However, three are about to leave (gifts). And I think I only have about a dozen tops that need quilting---we are NOT even going to think about WIPs!
Thanks for the generous giveaway
Jody
jodybob83@gmail.com
I have 5. 5 completed ones, that is! Three are ones my grandmother made and two were completed by me. I'm not counting the three charity quilts that I made that I turn in before Christmas, right? Or all of my WIPs and stash, right? Thought so! ;P
Six or seven - and countless UFOs!
I am assuming you mean finished quilts in use! So, about three on each bed and two on each chair and sofa . . . about 26.
We should stay warm this winter!
beth(dot)sebastian(at)gmail(dot)com
(ps -- I gave my grandson his minecraft quilt last weekend and he LOVES it!)
Just counting bed size quilts I have five- 2 I've made and 3 old family ones. But if you include table toppers and lap quilts I probably have about 15!
I like the 3 dimensional effect of the question mark.
I have over a hundred finished. Ten more need quilting, but who wants to count, just need to quilt and have fun and give some away. A family of ten are calling for Christmas
Long time no hear from, sweet bloggy friend. Wow, 3 different blocks over the issues. I think I have a whopping 2 issues, so far. I did use one a while back, for a block exchange I was in. Hmmm.... I have probably 50+ quilts, of different sizes, maybe more (probably more). Most are quilts that someone else has made. I seldom get to keep any of my quilts, other than some mini's. jncparker4@comcast.net (since wordpress and blogger don't play well with each other).
I must have at least 50 finished quilts and 10 tops waiting to be quilted. prycek@mymts.net
Kelli, since you didn't say quilts in progress I'm only counting the finished ones that waiting to be delivered... I see five from where I'm sitting right now.... thank you... I like the idea of punctuation as a type of literacy quilt...
kaylace@bellsouth.net
I only have about 3 finished and quilted. Maybe 15 tops and a million and one UFOs....giggle.
As a bookworm, I love your block. You asked a hard question...I guess around 50.
I have about 22 total, some in the process..I like your block also.
I know I have at least 20 finished quilts and 10 unquilted tops.
Love your block Kelli, finished or unfinished is the question. Finished that I made, 2, but unfinished I don't even want to think about it. grecomara at gmail dot com
About 13 if you count the two that just need bindings and the two that are just tops that need quilting. Most of the quilts I have made have gone to my grandkids. poladydwd(at)yahoo(dot)com
I think I have 6 or 7 full size bed quilts that my mother and grandmother made. Also a couple of wall hangings and coasters. Most of what I've quilted have gone to the children and the grandkids.
Your question mark is great! My daughter is going to be an English teacher and punctuation marks would be a really cute idea for her!
I only have two quilts and they aren't even ones that I made. I just learned how to quilt this year so only made baby quilts and one mini. They were all gifts except the mini. Hope to make some for me eventually!
I have about 75 and likely another 25 that are not quilted yet. I better get back to my sewing room.
Love the punctuation blocks, great idea.... the question mark could be used in so many places. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure that there are over 100 quilts in my house. I have a bed in my studio and it has close to 60 quilts laying on it. There are quilts on all the walls. I love to change them by the season.
Completed? In progress? Unjoined pieces? I think there are 5 or 6 antique quilts, 1 finished twin sized, possibly a couple of decrepit ones, and my squares for the first Craftsy Block of the month quilt. Actually, I usually give away my handmade projects so would have very little in my home.
Love the material for the block--perfect choice!
great ? mark!! How many quilts on beds, in closets for storage or wallhangings--. For today I have 5 beds and 6 quilts on them, doubled up on a couple. Kathy in colo repzjratplainsdotnet
Gosh, if I only count finished quilts, there must be over 30. Unfinished--we don't go there!
That question mark fabric is wonderful in that block!
Great block! I would say I have about a dozen finished and being used quilts and a couple of wall hangings.
Let's see, six new quilts, four or five older ones, so 10 or 11 today (giving one of the new ones away tomorrow).
What a cute Block! I have several quilt tops in my house but I have to quilt them, so the answer is 0.
I have 4 quilts in my house. 2 I made, and 2 family heirlooms. Lets not count UFOs.
I have 5 completed quilts in my house! thank you! cool block!
Had to think about that one for a minute but we have 4!
I must have about 30 finished ones, and about 20 just tops, and way too many ufo's, and about 300 years of fabric!
Right now I have 6 quilts on display in my house. I do love them.
Number of completed quilts in my house - I can count 20 in my head. Notice I said completed. Let's not talk about the ufo's, lol. Thanks for the giveaway. Kimberly of LaunderedCotton at gmail dot com
oh... 1 and it's a WIP. The others I have made live with friends & family.
A question mark, what a fun block that could raise many questions, Your block really intrigues me. I really like it. I can see myself making it for someone special. I thank you for sharing your block and your talent. I have lots of quilts around...both finished and unfinished...so your question is a good one. I think there are about 20 that are done, about five that are in daily use and many that are still in the mind. Now I have to question that question.
Does that include UFO's? (Question mark in my first sentence:) I'm guessing 75 or more. Good thing you didn't ask about ideas for quilts; that would be uncountable.
How fun to read about your punctuation theme! I so enjoy stopping by and reading all the blogs on the hop :o) My block, Order in the Court, is also in Volume 14, so no need to include me in your drawings, I just wanted to stop by and say, "Hi!"
I only have about 5 quilts, sadly, only 1 by me since I never seem to have the time to do any sewing! Your block is pretty great, and the Minecraft quilt is still on my to-do list... rani@bobself.com
I like this idea ty for sharing... I have 8 usable quilts in my house... happyness04431@yahoo.com
This is a total guess because we are traveling right now. I am going to say ten, and they have all been made by others. I have given away all of the quilts that I have made. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
I love your block! I haven't counted, but I'll bet I have around 50 finished and another 12-14 unfinished. Most are bed-sized.
Your question made me chuckle -- it would take way too long to count! Quilts are everywhere. I surely have over 50 in my house. I expect to have about 10 less after the Christmas gifts are given out. Then it will be time to make more!
jklmengland at windstream dot net
Two weeks ago I would have said three but my daughter asked if she could have one of them so I gave it to her. I have at least 6 I am working on that are at various stages so I am hoping to have more soon.
I imagine 60 or more.. sounds bad when I think of it.. some my mom made one from my grandmom and the rest mine..
thanks for the chance to win.
drhodes9@cox.net
Don't force me to count. I'm thinking around 60+. Just a guess.
If you count table toppers and wall hangings, I have 20+. I really like your block!
ceciliayoung@gmx.com
I probably have around 25-30 completed quilts. Lots of ufo's to be finished :-)
Um...finished, or not? Approximately 15. {many more unfinished} sewgood414@hotmaildotcom
Probably 10 finished but about 15 more to quilt!
Not counting all the unfinished tops, I have about 5 quilts. I usually give my finished quilts away. Love your question block. jleekamitchell(at)yahoo(dot)com. Thanks.
Oh wow. I would have to say maybe 30 or more. That is not counting all of the quilts I have given for gifts. Thanks for the great giveaway. ryarolim@gmail.com
I am gonna guess about 35. It could be a couple of more than that but 35 is certainly a good guess for me.
How clever to create a punctuation quilt. I have enjoyed your other punctuation blocks and will enjoy this one also.
tushay3 (at) yahoo (dot) com
Oh my! My guess is at least 50. Love your block!
All 3 of your Quiltmaker blocks are awesome...my fave is the ampersand And Sew On...gotta make that one a dozen times over. I have about 6 finished quilts in my house at the moment. Unfinished ones is another question! duchick at gmail dot com
I have at least 150 bed quilts (not counting mini's or wall hangings). Cute block too!
I would guess about 8 both finished and in process. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have somewhere between 30 and 50 not counting the four I'm working on right now. Somehow they just keep multiplying faster than I can give them away. I am a follower and enjoy your posts. edrin1932 (at) gmail (dot) com.
Oh my gosh--too many to count! I'm sure there are at least 100--I need to down size--lol! Fun block!
I estimate about 20 quilts in various stages of construction.
I have 12 quilts here now and several more yet to be made! Two of them are thanks to you, Kelli! shannasjones@msn.com
I have 5 bed size quilts(Queen & full), 1 lap quilt, and 6 wall hanging quilts. Thanks for a chance t win.
Counting 10 quickly that are finished and in use, and no clue how many are awaiting completion and projects sitting and waiting their turn; may be too afraid to count all of the UFOs! Possibly more than I can complete in my life time, HA! Just completed the Ender Dragon quilt back for the Minecraft quilt top....doing my best to complete for Christmas gifting....thanks so much for all you do and your fabulous designs.
Sandy
Probably between 15 and 20 would be my guess.
Great question! I had to go around and look :-) I counted 33...some big, some small...all but 2 made by me.
Your punctuation block and quilt is awesome!
Thank you for the sweet giveaways!
Around 11--the 5 baby quilts my siblings and I had, 2 small wall hanging quilts I made, 1 bed quilt I purchased, and 3or 4 small quilts I salvaged for my cat.
I'll guess about a dozen...give or take...some finished and some in the queue to be worked on. debgirotti at gmail dot com
I have about 25 if you count wall hangings and biped quilts. That doesn't count the WIPs!
Yikes! there is at least one on every bed (3), over a dozen mini's on my sewing room wall (12), almost a dozen on the living room walls (10), holiday quilts (6+), table toppers and runners (10+), some waiting for binding (3), some waiting for quilting (4), and a whole cabinet full waiting to given away someday as gifts (7+)...do I have to add them up?
saying to estimate the #of quilts just goes against the grain of getting to remember each one... and i don't even have that many in my house! (: Off hand, I'm guessing 7 finished and we'll not guess at UFO's... Anyhow super fun to see that one of my previous favorite blocks (&) was also by you. I would never have thought to buy the punctuation fabric (looks like swearing to me), but in this block, it is perfect! locknessa @hotmail .com
Hi, Kelli! Congratulations on another great block!!
Ummm... Quilts???
(Great question!)
Does that include quilts in various stages of completion??!
If ONLY *completed* quilts, not that many, as they usually go out the door as gifts as soon as done!
I've only kept 2 quilts for me... I have 2 others in the house right now, waiting to be gifted....
(Quilts on design walls, and in various stages of completion???... Just six at the moment!)
Thank you!
Pat T.
Completed quilts? Probably around 15. If we add in the completed tops that are not quilted (and I just added one to that number tonight), then the number jumps to about 40+. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. Love the Quilty Question Mark!
krseitz at earthlink dot net
I have about ten completed quilts BUT have at least that many in various stages. Most of my quilts are given away to family, friends and for benefits.
This is a cute quilt block!! I have about 30 quilts in my house. Many are mini quilts.
Your punctuation quilt is an awesome idea! I give most of my quilts away, but I think I have 11 quilts right now, but two of them are for my adult children and will be going home soon. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
I have about 25 quilts in my house, most of them are miniatures I bought from the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. Quilts That I make get donated so I have only a few that I made. I sure like your question mark.
Thanks for the giveaway! Counting my collection of minis I have about 28 or 30 quilts. I've only made a few of them, I give most of mine away. 😊 susanbrehm@me.com
I'm guessing in the range of 30-quilts on beds, walls, tables.
I have about 30 quilts in my house, including four made by my great grandmother. Thanks for sharing your inspiring blog!
I've considered your blocks in previous Quiltmaker 100 Blocks so your latest is added to that. I think they'd make a great table runner for an English teacher I work with!
I probably have 50 waiting for me to quilt and giveaway. Then I have 15 we use. I keep a stash ready for floods, fires, disasters of all sorts.
Forgot you wanted E-mail in comments. Jmikebalou (at) aol (dot) com
I have about 15 quilts in my house. This doesn't include quilts in progress! Like your block!

Oh my goodness you want me to put a number to my obsession. That's telling on myself but if I must I'll let you know at last count it was over 50 in the house. about 35 on display. Shh..don't tell anyone!
I probably have 20 finished quilts in my house. Easily double that as WIP. Love your punctuation quilt.
I'm sure that there are at least 10 personal quilts in the home at any given time.
I count 8 quilts on display or being used on beds that I made myself. Thanks!
I'm guessing about 10 quilts/wallhangings and probably 6 in the works. I've given as gifts at least another 10, but still "new" to quilting; now that I'm retired I expect that number will grow!!
I would guess about 20 tops that are done. I have another one ready to give as a December Xmas present. Another one being quilted and will soon be another Xmas present along with one for me for Christmas and currently working on a wall hanging for Christmas. I just love those Minecraft tutorials. Thank you for sharing these with all of us. Also, love your blocks and taking the time to be a part of the 100 Blocks Blog Tour as well as the chance to try and win.

I'm guessing there are at least 20 in my home...and a lot that I've given away that reside elsewhere! dsb448 at att dot net
I have at least 30 in various stages of completeness. At least 7 in the house as completed. I have given many away. ndfromsd at gmail. com
Ok, I did not read any of the previous comments. . . I'm just answering your question as stated:
I don't know. LOL
Now, if you want to know about *completed quilts*. . .I would guess about 15 that are lap sized or bigger; about 6 that are table runner sized; and about 20 that are placemat/mug rug sized.
If you were asking about *all* quilts, including unfinished ones, my guess would have to be closer to 100. . . between the UFO's, PIG's, WIP's, and kits I think that number about covers it. LOL
Love the question mark block.
Have a lovely day,
I am a beginner so I have a few mini quilts and wall hangings. I am working on my first full bed quilt now. Thank you. Love the punctuation quilt. tljeo at yahoo dot com
I am sure that I have over a dozen completed quilts. (Thanks so much for NOT asking about those infamous UFOs of mine....)
I think I have at least 50 quilts. I make lots of small quilts and I like to collect antique and unusual quilts. I have a few that are Amish made.
7 in use! Thats all I'm saying!
I wouldn't even know how to answer that since the number changes all the time depending on what I am working on and what I am giving away. I work with the quilting group at my church and sometimes there are 12 - 15 quilts that are here to work on before they get sent out. I would guess that there are at least 20 quilts that are here for the longer haul - but they could be given away too. I love to make quilts - I just don't have the space to keep all the ones I make.
Maybe 30? More if you count runners and pillows and wall hangings. Wasn't there a singer, maybe a one-hit-wonder, from the 60s called Question Mark? Can't remember the song, though. Anyway, thanks for sharing your cute block.

Love your new block!! I probably have about 20 full size quilts and maybe a dozen smaller projects.
How many quilts thT are finished - about 26. Unfinished tops and in progress? About 25!
Thanks for sharing your creativity. God bless !
I must have about 14 quilts plus several wall hangings, and I am not talking about the UFOs...
I have about 8 finished quilts that I have made entirely myself. I've got plenty of quilts tops with backing a, ready to be layered and quilted.

Rough guess including table runners would be 50-60 unless you want to count those cut out or pieced but not quilted--then ... :)
I have only been quilting for 3 years now and I have given most of them away as gifts. I think I have 6 in my home currently including an antique quilt that was hand quilted by my husband's grandmother.
Thanks!
What a cute question :-) Finished or unfinished --- because the answer is quite different! I estimate 10 -12 at the house, more at the cottage and a whole lot more "in process".
quiltschon@att.net
Probably less than 10 because I am constantly giving them away. Thanks for the chance to win, since Hasting's closed there are no local places less than 60 miles to get magazines.
Full size quilts, about a dozen. If you mean including wallhangings, tablerunners, probably about fifty
I have 4.. not many… am a newbie, and most quilts were gifted away . Ok, I'm cracking under pressure. I can't lie.LOL! I have 3, but that #4 one is my WIP, but almost almost finished!!
I think there's 6 bed quilts in my house. None by me yet.

I have about 5 finished quilts in my home right now.
I think I have 7 finished quilts, all wall or mini sized.

I love your blocks and the concept of them for a quilt. I probably have over 40 quilts in my house. I have decided that future finishes will have be gifted. I have nowhere to display or use that many quilts.
I probably only have 3 or 4 quilts at my house, but I would love to make it more.

I have about 2 dozen quilts in my house that are done and in the close or on the beds. kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
I'm guessing about 25 finished quilts and about 20 tops that need to be quilted.
love your blocks thanks for sharning
I think about 20 quilts, but that number is rapidly growing :)
9 finished quilts and at least 8 works in progress!

Looking at all of the other quilt counts, I am on the low side. We have 5 quilts, all for use on beds. One is for summer only (butterflies) and another for Christmas season (poinsettias). Both were made by my mother-in-law and given to us after she had them quilted. Since I am relatively new at this hobby, I don't have any of my completed ones here as they have all been gifts. I love your punctuation quilt, and to have such nifty fabric for the question mark is remarkable. Great idea!! bella.harriger@yahoo.com
I have 11 completed quilts, one ready to quilt, one being pieced, and several on the docket with all the fabric ready to be cut.
