I have a Quilty Question....
12:00 AM
...and a giveaway!
Hi! I'm Kelli. *hand waving*
Welcome to my stop on the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks blog hop! My block is on page 47 and is called Quilty Question. For obvious reasons. ;)
It all started a few years ago when I wanted to make my nephew a punctuation quilt, (I have this thing for punctuation) so I started trying to figure out which punctuation marks to include.
I had no idea that in the future, a few of them would be revamped and appear in Quiltmaker!
The first to appear was "And Sew On", and the second one to appear was "You've Got Mail". :) And now there's a third in the mix in the form of a Quilty Question. I even had the perfect fabric (called Writer's Block by IOTA/Robert Kauffman) for it, which I've had for a few years because it didn't make the final cut to be in the Jack Attack quilt I made as part of Lily's Quilts Union Jack quilt along.
I like it as a question mark. :)
If this is your first time here, I hope you'll have a look around, and come back and visit anytime! If you've been here before, welcome back! As always, no Quiltmaker blog hop post is complete without giveaway, so if you'll leave me a comment that includes your email address and the answer to the following quilty question, I'll pick TWO winners on Thanksgiving Day. :) One will receive a copy of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks vol. 14, and one will receive a copy of this 100 blocks issue PLUS a $25 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop.
Here's the question: How many quilts do you have in your house right now? (estimate is fine) ;)
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit all of the other stops along the hop!
xoxo
P.S. Check out the Minecraft Mondays button up there in the left sidebar if you're looking for a Christmas quilt for any young Minecraft fans in your life. :) It will take you to the sew along page where you'll find lots of free tutorials for all of the blocks. They are beginner friendly and super quick and easy to stitch up.
