Harry Potter Quilt Week 19: Hagrid

Yay! Not only are we up to week 19, (only one week left!) we are making HAGRID! I think he is my favorite of the character blocks.




He only needs five colors! So let's get cutting.



Background (A):
(10) 1 1/2" sq.
(2) 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"
(5) 2 1/2" sq.
(2) 2 1/2 x 6 1/2"
(2) 3 1/2 x 5 1/2"
(2) 4 1/2" sq.


Black (B):
(13) 1 1/2" sq.
(11) 1 1/2 x 2 1/2"
(2) 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"
(1) 1 1/2 x 4 1/2"
(2) 1 1/2 x 6 1/2"
(1) 1 1/2 x 10 1/2"
(2) 2 1/2" sq.
(4) 2 1/2 x 3 1/2"
(1) 2 1/2 x 4 1/2"
(1) 3 1/2 x 6 1/2"


Skin Tone (C):
(7) 1 1/2" sq.
(4) 1 1/2 x 2 1/2"
(3) 2 1/2" sq.
(1) 2 1/2 x 4 1/2"


Lighter Brown (D):
(6) 1 1/2" sq.
(2) 1 1/2 x 3 1/2"
(1) 1 1/2 x 8 1/2"
(1) 2 1/2 x 10 1/2"


White (E):
(2) 1 1/2" sq.






Part One: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part One and set aside.





Part Two: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Two and set aside.




Part Three: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Three and set aside.



Part Four: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Four and set aside.



Part Five: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Five and set aside.



Part Six: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Six and set aside.



Part Seven: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Seven and set aside.



Part Eight: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Eight and set aside.



Part Nine: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Nine and set aside.



Part Ten: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part Ten and set aside.





Block Assembly: Assemble block according to diagram below. You will have an 18.5" Hagrid block!



Be sure to come back next week for the twentieth block! There will be a few extras after that, but next will be the last of the original 20 to make the quilt top as shown. There just might be another giveaway, too to celebrate! 🎉 Next weekend, it's the KNIGHT BUS!!🚌

Hi Kelli,
I've been saving your pdf's to my computer because I haven't caught up. I've had problems with week 14 and 15. They open up as pdf's instead of going to your page first, and I am unable to save them. Just wondered if you could give me an idea what I should do
