Harry Potter Quilt: Gryffindor Block
Happy Saturday!
After a week off, we're back with the first extra block for the Harry Potter Quilt! This first one is the Gryffindor house crest. I have each one, so next week, I'll post another. After all of the crests, I'll post some of the others that you all came up with, if it's okay with you. Dobby, Luna, etc.
Here it the crest. Seems like the orange should be a bit more yellow but you get the idea. :)
It only uses four colors and the piecing is pretty simple!
Let's get cutting!

Thank you for these blocks. I’m a 65 year old Harry Potter freak. I would have loved to see the 9 3/4 block but I am thrilled with what you have given us. Thank you again. Maybe the back of the quilt could be a giant Hogwarts express engine. Hmmmmm. Something to think about.
