Introducing.....Any Which Way
8:17 PM
Happy Tuesday! I hope you're off to a good week, "Any Which Way" it goes. 😉 I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted here! Where does the time go. I can't figure out how it passes so quickly! I thought I'd pop in and share a new pattern I just got into my pattern shop called "Any Which Way".
This design has kind of been in my head for a long time, but when I actually sat down to work it out, I decided that the arrows were more fun if they were dissecting each other, instead of just being layered over one another.
It's a large lap size, so it's a quick, easy make, with large pieces and straight seams. 🙌 Aaand.. even though it has fairly large pieces, some of the arrows are still fat quarter friendly! In case you have any rogue fat quarters laying around.🤔
This design was done to coincide with a fabric line called Cops & Robbers by Riley Blake Designs that is landing in stores this month. It's a super cute kids line.
But... if you're not into kids fabrics, my friend Lisa (Lisa Lisa & the Quilt Jam) tested it for me and stitched it all up from fabric she already had in her stash. She tends to collect more modern prints and solids. Check this out!
I super love the piece of cool anime that she used and I love how it turned out in her more "grown up" version! She also told me that her hub loves this one! That's a huge compliment! Any time we can get the hubs on board with quilting is a good time!
The most ⏰ consuming part of this one is just the cutting. ✂✂✂ Easy peasy! You can probably stitch it up in a weekend if you really want to, but for sure in two weekends, if you want to take your time and do other things, too.
If you'd like to stitch one up, you can find it here. If you do, I'd love to see a pic of it when you're done!
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back soon to share another new pattern, and another extra Harry Potter block or two.
Have a great week and Happy Stitching!
xoxo
