Sew Chatty Fabric
Hi Friends! 👋
I have some super exciting news to share that I haven't mentioned here, yet.
Earlier this year, I sent a fabric idea and some sketches to Riley Blake and they liked it! So much that it is coming out in March! It consists of punny, colorful sewing comics.
I just received the first strike offs from the factory that have my name on the selvage and it's so surreal! There's a series of checks that have to happen to ensure it's the right colors, etc. before it goes into production. (The fabric used in the Quilt Market stuff had to be digitally printed for samples due to time constraints.)
I can't wait to actually see it on a bolt and to make all the things! Like PJ pants (there will three matching t-shirt options, so you could have a matching PJ set!😍), a laptop case, ironing board cover, and of course quilt blocks! Maybe I will finally make a Sew Together bag! Here's a glimpse of some PJ pants and a pencil skirt shown with the coordinating t-shirts, patches, and totes at Quilt Market a few weeks ago.
The squares in the large grid print are about 4-ish inches? Good for large fussy cuts.. The smaller print is a great size for smaller fussy cuts!
There will also be canvas zip pouches available, and pop sockets! If you would like to see any of these in your local quilt shop, you can ask them to preorder now. The accessories will be available at different times, some before the fabric releases, some after.
There are two prints, and three color options. You can see the fabric *HERE*. It was a whirlwind summer and a busy fall stitching up two patterns to go along with the fabric, that showcase fussy cutting. They debuted at Quilt Market along with the fabric, and the patterns are currently in my Etsy shop. Meet Shoephoria, and Quiltmaster.
