Harry Potter Quilt: Neville Longbottom

Back with another Harry Potter friend today! This weekend, Neville Longbottom joins the quilt blocks over on the sew along page.
Neville is pretty simple, only a couple of clip & flip corners. But first.. just a couple of Neville facts.

Remember to use scant quarter inch seams when stitching all of these blocks.
Part 1: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part 1 and set aside.

Part 2:
Right Upper Clip & Flip
1. Place square at upper end or right upper corner of rectangle or larger square, right sides together.
2. Stitch from left upper to right lower corner.
3. Clip, flip & press.
~Using a 1 1/2" sq. of Fabric A & a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2" rect. of Fabric E-short edge at the top, make one right upper corner clip & flip unit.
~Repeat using 1 1/2" sq. of Fabric A & a 2 1/2 x 4 1/2" rect. of Fabric E-long edge at the top.
~Assemble as shown below. Label as Part 2 and set aside.

Part 4: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part 4 and set aside.

Part 5: Assemble as shown below. Label as Part 5 and set aside.

Block Assembly: Assemble Parts 1-5 as shown below. You will have an 18 1/2" (18" finished) Neville Longbottom quilt block!

That's a wrap for Neville. Trevor is in the works, along with a Nagini. But for now, I think the next one that I'll add is the Flying Key. Stay tuned for that.
