Brother's Day Quilt Block Tutorial
4:37 PM
Good afternoon!
It's still Thanksgiving Day over here. My hub is feeling better today. I doubt he has covid. Yay! Seems like a quick cold. So we are just hanging out, having a quiet day. I thought I'd do the tutorial for this National Brother's Day block for my National Days scrap project. I'm missing my brothers today! National Brother's Daywas on May 24th.
This block goes together easily and doesn't have any clip & flip corners!
Fabric A (background):
(2) 1" sq. (~)
(2) 1 x 1 1/2" (>)
(3) 1 x 2"
(2) 1 1/2 x 2 1/2" (***)
(1) 2 x 6"
(2) 3 1/2 x 8 1/2"
Fabric B (letters):
(6) 1" sq. (~)
(4) 1 x 2"
(1) 1 x 3 1/2" (>>>)
This one was quick and easy! I figured I'd make some headway today, since not much else is happening around here. ;)
As always, if you make any of these or post any pictures, I'd love to see. Come find me in these places:
I'm excited about the next one in line, because it features our red Jeep on a road trip. haha! To our favorite National Park, Grand Teton, in honor of National Road Trip Day.
Hope you are enjoying today, and that you have a great rest of the holiday weekend.
I'll be back soon with the road tripping jeep. :)
Happy Stitching!
xoxo
