Mini BBQ Quilt Block Tutorial
7:44 PM
Hello! Welcome back!
Today, I'm sharing a block that I drew up for National BBQ day (which was on May 16th) for my National Days scrap quilt project. This is one of my favorites!
It has the usual clip and flip corners, only a few, and a few small strips.
It has me thinking BBQ aprons and oven mitts.
Here is how it works..
Fabric A (background):
(4) 1" sq. (~)
(2) 1 x 1 1/2" (>)
(1) 1 x 3 1/4"
(1) 1 1/4" sq. (+)
(1) 1 1/4 x 2 1/4"
(1) 1 1/2" sq. (*)
(1) 1 1/2 x 1 3/4"
(1) 1 1/2 x 3 1/4"
(1) 1 3/4 x 2"
(2) 2" sq.
(1) 2 x 2 1/4"
(1) 2 x 4"
(1) 2 1/4" sq.
(1) 2 1/4 x 2 1/2"
Fabric B (red-BBQ):
(1) 3 3/4 x 6 1/2"
Fabric C (gray-BBQ legs/spatch handle):
(1) 1 x 2 1/4"
(2) 1 x 3 1/4"
Fabric D (black-wheel):
(1) 1" sq. (~)
(1) 2" sq.
Fabric E (darker gray-spatch):
(1) 1 1/2 x 2 1/4"
Fabric F (brown-shelf):
(1) 1 x 2 1/2" (>>)
Fabric G (green-grass):
(4) 1" sq. (~)
(1) 1 1/2 x 2" (#)
(1) 2" sq.
(1) 2 x 4"
Fabric H (orange-brat):
(1) 1 x 1 3/4"
(2) 1 1/2" sq. (*)
