Vintage Play People Quilt Pattern
6:37 PM
Hello! Happy Monday!
The fabric and the pattern are available now, though. The pdf pattern is in my shop *here*, or check your local quilt shop, as orders have been coming in for hard copies.
I'm trying to find out from Riley Blake when these kits in the cute box will be available. **edit** I looked on the Riley Blake site and they should be coming in this month! I hope I can get my hands on one before they sell out!

It occurred to me that I don't think I ever shared my Vintage Play People quilt pattern here on my blog. I shared it quite a bit on IG and FB, but not here? I searched and can't find anything on it. So I wanted to give it its own post.😸 Seems odd to be posting about something that doesn't include a quilt block tutorial. haha
Vintage Play People started in the summer of 2019, when Riley Blake asked me could do a design for a quilt using their upcoming (available now!) Fisher Price licensed fabric line. I sketched a whole bunch of "no's" before I was driving down the highway one afternoon and *ping*.💡
The people! I bet I could do the people! And an idea was born. Which turned into this!
I've seen them popping up on Instagram, and I love the personal elements people are adding.
Originally, it was supposed to be kitted in this awesome box! I haven't been able to find one, though. I think covid put the big delay on that.

Then a few weeks back, I decided to add an enamel pin to my Etsy shop based on my Vintage Play People pattern. Enamel pins are so much fun. You can find him *here*.
Ohh! I almost forgot all about the stickers! I had a couple of stickers made back in July, I think. One was the dog. :D The other was Stitch Happens.
You can find them *here* and *here*. I love little quilty accessories. Esp. ones that don't cost much and make good stocking stuffers or "just because" gifts! These guys are stuck on my laptop.
Here is one of the Vintage Play People quilts I've seen on Instagram, by @madgemakes.
Did you play with these little people growing up or no? My mom still has the airport that we had as kids. I'm glad she saved it so her grandkids could play with it.
There are a few other "new" things in my Etsy shop, too. I'll share some of them soon. And I'll be back soon with another quilt block tutorial! I hope you have a great week ahead! Working on dicing up the train block right now.
Happy Stitching!
xoxo

Do you have plans for more people. My grandsons didn't like that I made them bald. We need a cat, too. I will keep my eyes open for any new developments. Love this pattern!
