I Heart Quilting Block Tutorial

Hi Friends!

Long time no see! 2021 is proving to be just as challenging as 2020. I've been MIA due to a pinched nerve situation that may or may not be more serious. I'm hoping and praying not. Without going into too much agonizing detail, I go for an MRI tomorrow a.m. If you're a praying friend, please pray it's nothing serious. 🙏🙏🤞🤞

With that out of the way, I'm honored this year to be part of the Riley Blake Designs RBD Designers' Block Challenge, a free collection of blocks that make up a really cute sampler quilt! It started in February, and ends this month. You can find all of the  blocks *HERE*.

Because of my current health challenge, I haven't been able to sew in the last several weeks, but here is my block. It is called I Heart Quilting

If you head over to the Riley Blake website *HERE*, you can download the instruction sheet for it. Along with instruction sheets for past and future blocks.

Here is a link to the details of the sew along that you can download and print if you'd like. There are only a few blocks left and then there will be finishing instructions/layout posted for this fun sampler quilt at the end of this month!

Thanks for popping by today!  I hope to be back soon with some fun National Day block tutorials. Oh! We are also in the middle of prepping for a move in about four weeks. Halfway across the country. Yay timing, right? *deep breaths*

Have a great week! And thanks for the prayers, if you're so inclined. I'll keep you posted.

xoxoxo

I hope the mri goes well and shows it’s just a pinched nerve that they can easily sort out for you xx

Sending prayers and big hugs Kelli. Love your block. It's my fave so far in the sew along. Good luck with your tests.

Praying that your MRI goes well and they can identify your source of pain and treat it!❤️

Kelli, wishing the best outcome for your medical problem. I thought you were moving house, so figured that was the reason for your absence.
I just started making the Mindcraft quilt. I did buy the solids bundle from Fat Quarter Shop. I couldn't find a way to contact you with a question (the link on your page didn't seem to work. When you feel up to it, could you email me? My question relates to how important the color choice is for each block. I don't really know anything about Mindcraft, except that it's my grandson's favorite game.
Good luck tomorrow.

Praying for you that the MRI shows nothing serious. I worked in a chiropractic office for about 25 years and I know how painful a pinched nerve can be. Hope you feel better soon.

Prayers for you as you move forward with all you have in front of you! Praying for a simple solution to your pain, allowing for a pain-free relocation! Looking forward to your next blocks or sew along. God go with you!

I'm too late for Wednesday praying, but I can still pray that they can fix you up nicely in a super quick fashion. I saw your machine pattern in a Riley Blake newsletter earlier this week. Hope the move goes well. I'll be in Missouri before you get there (at the TOGA).

Hoping you feel back to yourself soon!
We need your creativity!
I love your sewing machine block and I'm sure I'll be making it in the future!
