Watermelon Quilt Block Tutorial

Hello, friends! Who feels like watermelon today? Today's quilt block tutorial for my National Days scrap quilt project is another food block! 🍉

I love watermelon. Especially ice cold from the fridge in the summer. 💗 National Watermelon Day was on August 3rd.

Fun facts about watermelon:

1. Cordele, GA claims to be the Watermelon Capital of the World.

2. Watermelon is one of the USA's largest cash crops. I did not know this!

3. Watermelon festivals are held in several states in the US, Canada, Britain, Australia, and Japan.

4. You will not grow a watermelon plant in your stomach if you swallow a seed, no matter what your mom tells you. :)

This block is pretty simple. Like  most of them, it has a couple of clip and flip units and some small pieces. (seeds!)

Here's how it works..
