Happy New Year 2022! (and a Possible Quilt Label)
7:00 AM
Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a year of health, happiness and love, with lots of creativity on the side. It dawned on me the other day that I could make a '22 quilt block for my National Days scrap quilt project (hoping to finish it in 2022) by using the 2020 New Year block tutorial *HERE* and instead of the "0", add another "2". What a cute quilt label it would make for quilts made this year, too!
I love dots, in case it's not obvious. hahaha I just wanted to pop in and share this and wish you a Happy New Year!
The way last year went sideways, I feel like I should be binging on black eyed peas today, and I'm not even superstitious! haha I'm so grateful for good health and a fresh New Year! All the praise hands! (interspersed with jazz hands) 🙌👐👏👐🙌🙌👐👐🙌🙌 I had planned to sit down and post about everything that happened but I just can't bring myself to revisit it like that yet. Someday. Just not yet. But feeling super thankful and grateful!💗
I'll be back in a couple of days with a sweet Honey Bee block. Wishing you all the best in 2022!
xoxo,

P.S. I love to see blocks and quilts that are made with any of my patterns. If you make any and post on social media, please come find me in any of the places listed below, and tag me so I can see! :) If you're on YouTube, check out the short musical video tutorials of some of these blocks. I'm hoping they might inspire kids, or anyone really, to learn to sew. :) Plus, they're just fun to do.
I'm keeping all of these blocks and their tutorials organized on the National Days quilt blocks page *HERE*, if you're looking for any of the other soon to be 144 blocks. Getting closer to the goal! If you know someone who loves Minecraft, Pokemon, and or Harry Potter, check out these free sew alongs, too! :) And if you're looking for any of my print patterns, or other fun quilty gifts, check out my Etsy shop here. Be back soon!
xx

Love the quilt label idea. Makes me want to go back and create labels for my other '20 and '21 quilts I haven't gifted already. (In my spare time, right? LOL) Maybe just going forward should be the plan. Thanks Kelli.
Just to be sure you know---I love your patterns and your blog. Wishes for a wonderful healthy and happy 2022.
Happy New Year Kelli, you're on your way to a much brighter, healthier and more productive year.
