Pokemon Fridays Sew Along
1:43 PM
Welcome to Pokemon Fridays!
This is the page where you will find all of the block links, and information about the sew along. These blocks will be all straight seams, and kid friendly. Because of their increased detail, they had to be bigger than the 12" Minecraft blocks, so they may take longer to stitch together but I will try to keep them user friendly for even the younger beginners by breaking each block into four or more smaller sections. This is the quilt:
There will be a new block posted every other Friday, and I will link to all of the posts on this page. Just click on the Block #/Date to be taken to that particular block's blog post. Like the Minecraft posts, I'll also make each post into a downloadable PDF in case your sewing machine isn't near your computer. The PDF links can be found at the end of each individual block's blog post.
To get started, here is a link to the introductory post, and the fat quarter bundle of the fabrics I'm using for my son's quilt, that's available at the Fat Quarter Shop.
Intro Post: September 15, 2017
Click here for Introductory Post & Info where you'll find a link to the fat quarter bundle that I'm using, a downloadable pdf of the fabric requirements, and sizes of quilt and blocks, etc. You can also find the fat quarter bundle by clicking here.

Got my first block done! Thank you for the great instructions and diagrams. Ready for block 2 ... :-) Pat
Kelli, are we getting block 5 this weekend? I'm missing working on this! Thanks!
I am trying to catch up with the pokemon quilt and can't access the January 26 link. Am I too late?
What are your plans for the backing?
Any one have the Squirtle block pdf? The link to the sew along for him doesn't seem to work. :(
Thank you for this great Tutorial. My son is a big Pokemon fan
